About Claudio
I am an accredited psychotherapist and clinical supervisor (BABCP, BACP, IPT UK) with over 16 years’ experience supporting adults with emotional, relational, and identity-related difficulties.
My background includes work in the NHS, bereavement services, multicultural counselling organisations, the probation service, and mental health charities. This has shaped a steady, inclusive, and psychologically informed way of working
My work draws on psychodynamic, interpersonal, and cognitive-behavioural approaches, and is collaborative, thoughtful, and practical.
My own experience of therapy is what led me to this work. It showed me the relief that comes from being understood, and the importance of having a consistent, thoughtful space to reflect.

How I Work
My style is calm, transparent, and collaborative.
Therapy is something we do together. We explore patterns in emotions, thinking, and relationships, while also developing practical ways to cope, make decisions, and respond differently to challenges.
I draw on psychodynamic, interpersonal, and cognitive-behavioural approaches, integrating ACT and Compassion-Focused Therapy when helpful. The work is reflective, practical, and tailored to you — not a one-size-fits-all model.
What Matters to Me
I believe meaningful therapy happens within a real human relationship, one that allows curiosity, honesty, difference, and uncertainty.
Change tends to last when it is understood, integrated, and experienced emotionally, rather than a quick, superficial fix.
Outside the therapy room, I value simplicity and grounding: gardening for wildlife, spending time with friends and animals, and quiet evenings with a good film or series. These things help me stay connected, present, and human in the work I do.
